UFO spotted at Pensacola Beach

Pensacola Beach is located in the Gulf of Mexico coast in Florida features some of the craziest state attractions, such as billboard advertising and scandalous Ice House, but one of its most frequently visited attractions is the private property "UFO house located at 1304 Panferio Drive, Pensacola Beach.

The top of a building, the saucer-shaped house seems to have landed on some unsuspecting Earthman roof. Futuristic with a ramp leading to the dropdown menu items and the model of the door looking at the foreign port-hole windows, the house has become one of the finest officers attractions Pensacola Beach. Made entirely of polyester reinforced with fiberglass, plastic, white UFO house has proved to be very tough, still standing 35 years after construction and after the abuse of several hurricanes.

Although known as the UFO house "is actually one of only 20 Futuro houses ever built and designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen in 1968 pop. Originally conceived as a futuristic ski cabin for a friend of Finn, the house proved Future as versatile as the other 19 were commissioned for a variety of purposes, such as observation stations of the Swedish Air Force, a youth club in Stuttgart, an office of the plastics factory in Yorkshire England and homes across the United States. There is even a Futuro house just off a road in Estonia which was passing through Santa Claus Flying Saucer!

In sales literature the late 1960s is described as the future "which represents the modern and comfortable way to add coziness housing practices," and confidently predicted that "the future is the home of the future." However, despite his optimism, sales of the Future - please excuse the pun - never "off", so following the initial implementation of 20, production ceased entirely. The house was criticized for lack of storage space, and considered too expensive and too small for normal families. The fact that it was constructed of plastic certainly does not help sales, either as potential buyers in the 1960s did not think the test of time. But as can be seen in the shining example on the beach in Pensacola, they were wrong!

As a curiosity, the UFO house in Pensacola is well worth a visit if you are in that part of Florida. And if you plan to stay overnight during your visit, remember that hotels in Pensacola can be expensive at the peak of the season, so go when less busy. After all, the UFO house will still be there - it is not flying anywhere!
